Saguaro West Interior Design & Décor is an interior design studio specializing in mid- to high-end residential interiors. Based in Livingston, Texas, it serves clients in southeast Texas’ Polk County, the greater Houston area, Huntsville, and Lufkin. The firm is known for the high level of service and value it provides, delivered with a fun, client-focused approach.
The firm’s founder, Mary Kate Pedigo, is a talented interior designer, graphic designer, and photographer with a background in communications. With a photographer's eye, she always imagines how to capture a space through an artist’s lens. As a seasoned graphic designer, she understands how contrast, balance, and color all work together regardless of medium. This combination of experience and artistic skills adds a unique perspective to every design project she undertakes.
Saguaro West designs interiors that evoke nostalgia but with a modern spin and the addition of contemporary features and amenities. It creates spaces that, with the perfect accents and details, tug on memories of family gatherings and slower living and transport its owners to a bygone era. Serving Polk County and southeast Texas, we specialize in full-service residential design, focusing on complete renovations and new home construction. Services range from hourly consultations for smaller projects to full-scale home remodels and new construction. We develop the design concept, make selections from flooring to fixtures, and work side-by-side with contractors, so our clients can relax and have a stress-free home renovation experience. And when the work is complete, we decorate and accessorize the home, from furnishings to the finishing touches.
Its founder, Mary Kate Pedigo, lives in beautiful rural Texas. She is married and has two young kids. Her husband’s family has been in the retail furniture business since the 1950s. As a result, she possesses extraordinary knowledge and understanding of home furnishings and accessories. Whether she throws a touch of European farmhouse, modern traditional, relaxed vintage, or transitional details into her design, she makes sure that when the work is done, her clients move into the home of their dreams.
